Colour Harmony and Contrast Home Study Course

This is the course that Impressionists would have taken in their early days, had it been available. They did not rely on 'instinct' alone but studied colour, as you now can. Based on the book Colour Harmony and Contrast for the Artist. This book is required for the course.

The course consists of:

• Comprehensive course notes
• 75 exercise sheets printed on 140lb acid-free watercolour paper or textured oil painting paper
• Presentation binder, with protective translucent sleeves
• A laminated colour Bias Wheel
• A printed laminated practice mixing palette
• A No. 8 'Michael Wilcox' high quality round brush

The course is available in two versions:

• For watercolours, gouache and thinly applied acrylics. Exercises on 140lb acid free watercolour paper
• For oils or heavily applied acrylics. Exercises printed on acid free simulated canvas
• The DVD Successful Colour Mixing our Colour Coded Mixing Palette and our Artist's Quality Paints are optional but would be very useful. (These products are not included as so many artists already possess them)
